The "E-Accessibility Day" was held on 16 November 2023. It was organized by the Federal Bureau for the Equality of Persons with Disabilities (EBGB), which is an implementation partner of the IICT Flagship. Two other implementation partners contributed to the symposium: Paul Anton Mayer, Chief Digital Officer (CDO) of capito, gave a talk about “KI für Barrierefreiheit” (‘AI for accessibility’). Michaela Nachtrab and Robin Ribback, Head of Product Management Accessibility Services and Head of Innovation from SWISS TXT, gave a talk about “Gebärdensprachübersetzungen heute und morgen: Avatare & Online-Systeme” (‘Actual and future sign language translation : Avatars & online systems’).
